Refunds and Returns Policy

This policy applies to all purchases made through www.diebraaigat.co.za, the official website of Braaigat PTY LTD.

1. Defective or Incorrect Products

We take pride in the quality of our products and services. If you receive a product that is:

  • Defective, or

  • Incorrect (not what you ordered),

you may return it within 7 calendar days of delivery.

To qualify, the product must:

  • Be unused and in its original packaging (unless it is defective),

  • Be accompanied by valid proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice), and

  • Be reported to us in writing via email at brandon@diebraaigat.co.za within the 7-day window.

2. Return Process

Once your return request is received and approved:

  • We will arrange for the collection of the item (or provide return instructions),

  • Upon inspection, a refund or replacement will be issued at our discretion, depending on product availability and the nature of the defect/error.

We reserve the right to:

  • Inspect the item before processing any return, refund, or replacement.

  • Decline returns that do not meet the policy criteria.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of certain products, the following are non-returnable unless defective:

  • Perishable or consumable goods,

  • Custom-made or personalised items,

  • Products damaged due to misuse or negligence.

4. Refunds

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be processed to your original method of payment.

  • Please allow 10-15 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank and the Payment Gateway that was used to pay for the order..

Shipping fees (if applicable) are generally non-refundable, except where the return is due to our error.


This policy is aligned with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your rights under the Act.
